Ashley footpaths
Ashley has a number of footpaths which pass through or originate in the village. All are signposted, easy to follow and can be found on an OS map. 'Dog poo' bins are available on each of the footpaths and are marked on the map. Please clear up after you as you go !
The landowner over whose land the footpath crosses is responsible for ensuring that the paths are safe and passable. The Parish Council regularly checks the footpaths. Should you become aware of a problem with the footpath, please email our Clerk by clicking this link: k.daddsashleypc@btinternet.com
Regular users of our paths will see that the footpath to Dalham has been slightly re-routed at the top of the hill above the windmill. The path now takes the original route through a small copse and so walkers can avoid having to negotiate quite a steep bank at the top of the hill. Our thanks to Dalham Hall Estate for their work to reinstate this path.
